Media Card Training Series

Media Ethics & Responsibility

Six courses. Practical knowledge. Responsible media.

Whether you are a journalist, photographer, filmmaker, broadcaster, podcaster or social media creator, communicating with an audience carries responsibilities. This collection of six EANE certificate courses explores the ethical, professional and practical challenges of modern media.

Each course provides focused learning, real-world examples and meaningful assessments. You can study individual courses according to your interests, or complete several to develop a broader understanding of responsible media practice.

These courses form the recognised educational pathway for applicants seeking a Media Card administered by EurAV European Audio Visual CLG. Applicants must complete the compulsory Media Ethics and Public Responsibility certificate and at least two other certificates from this collection.

Completing these courses satisfies the educational component of a Media Card application but does not guarantee that a credential will be issued. EANE does not issue or administer the Media Card.
