Body Language and Screen Presence

Use posture, facial expression, gestures and physical stillness to appear engaged, comfortable and credible on camera.

Screen presence begins with stability

A presenter does not need dramatic movement to hold attention. Calm physical control often appears more confident than constant motion. Whether standing or seated, establish a balanced position before speaking. Keep the upper body open, avoid collapsing into the chair and place the feet securely. Stability supports breathing, improves vocal control and reduces distracting movement.
