Ethical procurement for community groups

How to spend your group's money in line with its values.

Every euro is a vote

Even a small community group spends money — printing, catering, IT, web hosting. Five quick wins:

• PRINTING from a local social enterprise printer. • CATERING from a community café or refugee-run kitchen. • IT from an EU-hosted, free-software alternative (Nextcloud, Kanban via OpenProject, Jitsi for meetings). • ENERGY from a community energy co-op where available. • BANK at an ethical bank (Triodos, GLS, Banca Etica, Crédit Coopératif).

The Buy Social network (buysocialeurope.com) lists certified social enterprises by country.
