Focus and sharpness explained
Focus is the process of adjusting the lens so that a chosen subject appears clear. Sharpness describes how much fine detail is visible in the finished photograph. Correct focus is essential for sharpness, but camera movement, subject movement and poor technique can still produce a blurred image.
