Walls, lights, labels
Three rules for a low-budget exhibition that looks intentional:
• WALLS — borrow a vacant shop, library wall, community centre. Always with written permission. • LIGHTING — clip-on warm-white LED spots (around €15 each) lift works dramatically. • LABELS — small printed cards: artist name, title, year, one-line description. Consistency makes everything look professional.
Open evening: free drinks, named programme, ten-minute artist talk. Photograph the show in daylight the next morning for the local newsletter — that's the bigger audience.
