Many adult learners, and many children, have experienced trauma: war, displacement, abuse, domestic violence, racism, loss. Trauma-aware practice doesn't require diagnosis: 1. SAFETY, predictable routines, named breaks, exit always allowed. 2. CHOICE, give learners options (sit anywhere; speak or pass). 3. VOICE, invite, never insist on disclosure. Stories are theirs. 4.
