Your car faces different seasons

A vehicle that performs well in summer may struggle in winter conditions. Heat, cold, ice, rain and longer periods of darkness all affect vehicle performance. A seasonal check helps prevent common problems before they occur.

Prepare for winter

Check tyre condition, washer fluid strength and battery condition before temperatures fall. Keep an ice scraper, high-visibility vest and torch in the vehicle where local regulations recommend them. Replace worn wiper blades before winter weather arrives.

Prepare for summer

Check coolant levels and inspect hoses for signs of wear. Ensure tyres are correctly inflated before long holiday journeys. High temperatures can place additional stress on cooling systems, tyres and batteries.

Build a seasonal habit

Schedule a short vehicle inspection when seasons change. A 15-minute check twice a year can reduce breakdown risk and increase confidence before longer journeys.
